Tillandsia Jucunda is an air plant hybrid between T.tenuifolia and T. ixioides. Native to central Bolivia and Argentina. Tillandsia Jucunda grows into a round rosette of spiky leaves of a light green color. The plant clumps easily and with the right care can provide multiple offsets.
This air plant forms a pink floral bract that blooms a yellow flower. This color combination is rare in Tillandsias and thus making the plant a great addition to any collection.
Like the majority of other air plants, T.jucunda does well in good natural light. Find a space that provides this air plant with sufficient air flow and water it twice weekly. Either by spraying it, or submerging it in a bowl or sink.
Remember, with misting, that any water that catches in the leaves may cause rot after several days if allowed to sit.
Tillandsia Jucunda is a beautiful species that will form an impressive clump and can be grown on a piece of driftwood or strung from wire.
